Economic mission to Canada with the Canadian Chamber in Italy: an opportunity for companies and professionals to expand contacts, organise B2B meetings and promote their brand in the Canadian market.
From 23 to 31 May 2025, the Canadian Chamber in Italy will be engaged in a Institutional and economic exploratory mission in Canada, with an itinerary divided into three strategic stages: Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. The initiative is part of the broader path of internationalization and cooperation promoted by the Chamber to promote dialogue between the Mediterranean area and the North American context.
The mission is open to the participation of companies, professionals, associations and institutions interested in deepening the dynamics of the Canadian market and establishing new connections with local partners.
Montréal: innovation, sustainability and international relations
The first stop will be Montréal, a city known for its entrepreneurial dynamism and strong orientation towards innovation. Here the delegation will meet representatives of the economic and institutional world, research centres, promotion bodies and startups active in the fields of agritech, sustainable tourism, urban technologies and culture. Montréal represents a privileged access point to the Quebec market and a crossroads of relations between Europe and North America.
Ottawa: AIOT Spring Summit and economic diplomacy
The institutional heart of the mission will be Ottawa, where on May 27 the delegation will take part in the Spring Summit organized by AIOT Canada, dedicated to the evolution of artificial intelligence, the digitization of public services and synergies between public and private entities in the technological field.
For companies interested in participating, a dedicated service package has been prepared that includes the possibility of taking part in the event, organizing B2B meetings with Canadian companies present at the Summit and promoting their brand through promotional materials, thematic interventions or networking activities.
Ottawa also represents an important opportunity for discussion with institutional representatives and think tanks active in the field of bilateral economic cooperation and international development policies.
Toronto: World of Travel Expo and the Mediterranean Pavilion
The journey will end in Toronto, Canada’s economic capital and host city of the World of Travel Expo 2025 (30–31 May), one of the most important trade fairs in North America in the tourism, agri-food and hospitality sectors. The Canadian Chamber in Italy will be co-organizer, together with ASCAME (Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry), of the Mediterranean Pavilion, a space dedicated to the promotion of cultural, gastronomic and entrepreneurial excellence in the Mediterranean area.
The Pavilion will offer:
- Conferences and panels on sustainable tourism, investments and digitalization.
- B2B pre-organized meetings with Canadian and international operators, buyers and stakeholders.
- Exhibition spaces for typical products, innovative services and territorial projects.
- Speaking Corner for thematic presentations by participants.
